When It rains green

Among so many resons to love this particular day, these little drops of heaven sit at the top of my list. Never since I gained consciousness had there been a 14th of August when it didn't rain. Things might seem clearer and those frowns might turn into smiles; but no matter wherever you go you won't see it rain green. Never in a million eons.
Me and rain have our own thing anyway. Endless smiles, countless memories, and 'pakoray', for sure. Ecstasy, might be the closest word for the feeling that arouses. But it's different when you have those green flags, adored with the crescent and the moon, fixed across every other rooftop you see. And with the clouds tearing hard, it feels perfect. Utopia.
Frankly, I'm not a patriotic person. People might not even give a single thought when it comes to sacrificing their own lives for the betterment of their beloved country. But I will. But that doesn't, in any way, imply that i do not want this nation and my brothers to prosper and live a harmonious life. I sincerely do; and that is what motivates me to do something or anything that might bring us back from the depths of despair we're lingering in.
On this day, all I wish is success and peace for this nation and my people. I hope future hold something wonderful for us. Till then, may this rain keeps soothing our faith, aspirations and dreams.

In the end.

Death. Don't know anything about it, but it still scares me like nothing else does. I try reallly hard, but sometimes I just can't get the idea of everything coming to an end, off my mind. And that's one of the reasons I try to make the most out of every moment I live. And all I can do is to hope, that the end will be great, satisfying & fulfilling. Because after all, you never know...

" When my time comes, forget the wrong that I've done,
Help me leave behind some reasons to be missed.
Don't resent me, and when you're feeling empty,
Keep me in your memory.
Leave out all the rest
Leave out all the rest...

Distractions

The van came to halt at the red light. My dad asked me to hand him his sunglasses, and I did. Putting them on, he pointed out to this homeless guy across the street. Ragged old man, holding a tin can and a stick in the other hand. And my dad said...
"You know why I wear sunglasses all the time? So I don't have to look at the ugliness of life. You could even look straight in his face, pretending to be staring at nothingness; and he'll never know."
That made me ponder over the fact how much things have changed over time. No doubt, we did advance in other fields and made things such things possible that are no different than miracles. But somewhere along the line, we lost our true spirits, that aspect of love and caring that our souls possessed. So much we have changed that we're not ourselves anymore. But why is it...
Maybe it's because we have changed to become so obsessed, so self-centered and such egotistic beings that that we really don't pay attention to what is going on around us, or who is in need, or anything that pertains to anyone but ourselves. All those emotions, feelings and devotion for other beings are lost somewhere. Or maybe it's not what it seems...
Maybe it's because over time, as things and circumstances got worse, our lives got difficult and uglier. And instead of endeavoring to resolve those issues, we just got used to of the things, making us numb day after day. And as the process proceeded, it changed us into these conscious beings, who may see, listen and feel what is happening to the world around them; but decide to just ignore it. Living their life on a lie, that things will be better again, soon, very soon. But never really ask this question: Who? Who is going to change everything? Who will pull us out of this abyss of despair and make our lives and thins world, a better place to live.
Well..I'm positive about the fact that this world is not going to get changed if we keep on pleasing ourselves with all the wonderful things we have. I guess one day we will have to take off those sunglasses. The ones that make this world look nicer than it is. And take a look at the uglier and the darker side of this coin. After all, life is not about rainbows and ponies. Not really.

Beyond the veil.

Beyond the veil. What is beyond the veil? The shroud that keeps the secrets hidden, the curtain that fogs our minds beyond our imagination and boggles our thoughts beyond perspective. The devil of disguise that never let go of the answers to the enigmas that generations of humanity strived to look for. It’s the mask that keeps those dilemmas unrevealed, unseen, unknown. The masquerade that keeps the facts hidden, ones that make the world go round. But in the end, it motivates us to look for the answers to those conundrums that obstruct us from reaching our optimum abilities.
Soon as the veil drops, things fall in place. The fog recedes; making the sky clearer as ever and from nowhere comes the rainbow, astonishing and wonderful. And all our existence just screams this question: How on Earth you never realized, never ever knowing that you had the solution. But still you spent all your life, wandering streets and looking for something that was in front of you all the time. Just beyond a mere veil. Eventually, everything seems crystal clear. Secrets, unveiled, revealed.  The revelation.
Soon as the things come to life, you come to ponder over the facts and realize that we’re actually capable to so much more than we ever even expected. The Recognition. The sunrays coming down on you kindle the hope inside you, assuring that you could still reach for the goal, just reach further and believe in yourself. There is nothing to stop you, nothing in your way to hold you down. You can change the world and you, can change the fate. Transformation. And that’s all what the world needs.
Now you’re here, beyond the veil. Standing stock still, you look at heavens, not noticing the masses of people embarking upon their journeys to look for the things that will fulfill the lusts their souls possess and will make their lives better. But you are not satisfied, there are still answers to find, ideas to ponder on and dreams to fulfill. But this time, you have a newfound prospect in mind, as you begin to look for what is, beyond the veil.

ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE.....PAKISTAN ZINDABAD!

It wasn't a long epoch of time ago that we materialised on the glowing face of the Mother Earth;after a lot of hardships and countless number of sacrifices. And ultimately,we gained this place-our own homeland. But this is not merely a piece of land that stretches from the breathtaking heights of Himalayas to the awe-inspiring depths of the Indian Ocean.
The day we gained independence and broke free the chains of slavery;we emerged as a new nation and proved ourselves as a separate and unique identity. But things donot come to an end here. Our existence will be proved the day others will acknowledge that we do exist .We do occupy a critically important part of this globe. And as an individual nation,we mean something.
And YES gave all of us an opportunity;an opportunity to get rid of all those misconceptions that people hid in their hearts from ages ago.And an opportunity to leave a mark on the minds of the people who hesitate from acknowledging us.
Those three days we spent on the unfamiliar land of Wahington, enjoying that awefully tasteless meals together, having the time of our lives with our new friends and gathering those beautiful pearls of memories that are going to enchant all of us for the rest of our lives. But above all,our greatest achievement was when youth from all around the globe, filled with enthusiasm and energy, said out loud those fascinating words of long live Pakistan. And that was the moment for which we all waited.Oh YES! That's on for all and all for one.....Pakistan Zindabad!!!...:)

A letter to Mr.Bloggie (private n confidential)...=P

Hello Mr.Bloggie,

How are u doing?I am fine and hope the same for u.I know you must be feeling awkward since I wrote such a confidential letter to you.Duhh!!...you know man!..the world's not good out there. There are creatures filled with hatred, envy and loathing, seeming to care for us,wearing masks of disguise and hiding their true faces behind them.I didn't mean to say that I'm the only goody-boy in town;but, seriously, sometimes I don't get it who to believe on and whom to trust...:( It's like being in a dark abyss, searching for a way to get out,but each time you try,you meet pitch black walls, and nothing else.

So thats why I needed someone badly with whom I can share all that's on my mind. Each and every thought, feeling, stupid ideas and lot more.I know that like those people out there, you're not going to break my trust and you are going to listen to what I want;no matter what the circumstances are.Though I am sure people are surely gonna talk behind our backs(ummmm....below..specifically..ok just drop it!),but you just don't worry;i'll take care of 'em!

Over a course of time,I'll update you regarding the stuff 'em doing. You know what,it just feels like starting all over again, with a new perspective,a better paradigm.Need to go now.Em a busy man, can't talk to you 24/7 jerk!

Btw,it was nice talking to you.Hope to see you soon.Aurevoir fella!

Regards,
the one n only,
me!
