Project '3x 10' - Day 9: The dead end.

He began with the end in mind. He was certain where he was headed. But when it happened, time and space came to a abrupt halt. It wasn't supposed to be like this.
The little pieces of detail fitted together like a jigsaw puzzle in his very own subconscious mind; waiting to be summoned to the conscious portal of the brain as soon as they were required. He knew each and every turn of the maze like the back of his hand. Shit. Nobody knows the back of their hand. The details were a part of him, undulating with every single heartbeat.
People love metaphors. Don't they? They like things aesthetically associated, in a harmonic proportion with one another. Tangled together perfectly. But for him, it was a wildfire out there. No one trust able. Nothing to be relied upon. The next step he takes determines the rest of the course he will be embarked upon. As though a domino had been toppled over, generating a ripple that causes the rest to follow, one by one.
He wasn't disappointed for the lack of direction in his life. Rather he was overwhelmed by the number of directions he had to comprehend and choose from. The maze was a conundrum in itself. But he wasn't scared to make a decision. He never was. What frightened him was the fear of the far-fetched. The unknown. He needed to fight off the insecurities and come to an absolute conclusion, and he did.
And then happened what he never would've imagined about. How could he? The idea was mere nothingness in itself. A numbing sensation made way through his spine, down the nerves and trickling into every muscle of his existence. His eyes, blinded by the bleak darkness. His ears, deafened by the encumbering silence.
The dead end.

Project '3 x 10' - Day 8: Non-sense.

From far away, even the Earth and the sky seem to meet at a single point, but they don't. We're way too ignorant about the far-fetched, and hope is the only thing we can rely on.
But I'm scared of the future, of the unexpected, of the unpredictable. I've hooked up so many people on hope, saying time will make things right, will heal all those hideous wounds, will bring the best for you in the end. But what if nothing turns out the way we want it to be? What if their lives turn into shit? I'll be the one guilty. I'll be the one who elevated their hopes way too high. What if they actually had to take initiative, do something, anything, to put things in order? I'll be the one who distracted them off their paths that they were actually supposed to be on. I'm confused. And there's noting I can do about it.
Maybe it's all about belief. Belief in the fact that God has plans for us. Plans that our minds cannot comprehend. Plans that are inescapable. Belief in the fact that there are some reasons behind everything that happens, and we just have to accept them without questioning. Belief in the fact that whatever happens, happens for good.
I believe that our thoughts can eventually influence the out comings. That everything we see, we perceive, has a consciousness. And that we constantly interact and influence each other, even though we might not know about it. If we concentrate all our belief on something, all these 'conscious' things might agree with us and actually help us. And we can actually change the direction things will head on; turning them the way we want them to go on. Mystic forces. Cool stuff.
This does not make sense at all.

Distractions

The van came to halt at the red light. My dad asked me to hand him his sunglasses, and I did. Putting them on, he pointed out to this homeless guy across the street. Ragged old man, holding a tin can and a stick in the other hand. And my dad said...
"You know why I wear sunglasses all the time? So I don't have to look at the ugliness of life. You could even look straight in his face, pretending to be staring at nothingness; and he'll never know."
That made me ponder over the fact how much things have changed over time. No doubt, we did advance in other fields and made things such things possible that are no different than miracles. But somewhere along the line, we lost our true spirits, that aspect of love and caring that our souls possessed. So much we have changed that we're not ourselves anymore. But why is it...
Maybe it's because we have changed to become so obsessed, so self-centered and such egotistic beings that that we really don't pay attention to what is going on around us, or who is in need, or anything that pertains to anyone but ourselves. All those emotions, feelings and devotion for other beings are lost somewhere. Or maybe it's not what it seems...
Maybe it's because over time, as things and circumstances got worse, our lives got difficult and uglier. And instead of endeavoring to resolve those issues, we just got used to of the things, making us numb day after day. And as the process proceeded, it changed us into these conscious beings, who may see, listen and feel what is happening to the world around them; but decide to just ignore it. Living their life on a lie, that things will be better again, soon, very soon. But never really ask this question: Who? Who is going to change everything? Who will pull us out of this abyss of despair and make our lives and thins world, a better place to live.
Well..I'm positive about the fact that this world is not going to get changed if we keep on pleasing ourselves with all the wonderful things we have. I guess one day we will have to take off those sunglasses. The ones that make this world look nicer than it is. And take a look at the uglier and the darker side of this coin. After all, life is not about rainbows and ponies. Not really.

ONE FOR ALL AND ALL FOR ONE.....PAKISTAN ZINDABAD!

It wasn't a long epoch of time ago that we materialised on the glowing face of the Mother Earth;after a lot of hardships and countless number of sacrifices. And ultimately,we gained this place-our own homeland. But this is not merely a piece of land that stretches from the breathtaking heights of Himalayas to the awe-inspiring depths of the Indian Ocean.
The day we gained independence and broke free the chains of slavery;we emerged as a new nation and proved ourselves as a separate and unique identity. But things donot come to an end here. Our existence will be proved the day others will acknowledge that we do exist .We do occupy a critically important part of this globe. And as an individual nation,we mean something.
And YES gave all of us an opportunity;an opportunity to get rid of all those misconceptions that people hid in their hearts from ages ago.And an opportunity to leave a mark on the minds of the people who hesitate from acknowledging us.
Those three days we spent on the unfamiliar land of Wahington, enjoying that awefully tasteless meals together, having the time of our lives with our new friends and gathering those beautiful pearls of memories that are going to enchant all of us for the rest of our lives. But above all,our greatest achievement was when youth from all around the globe, filled with enthusiasm and energy, said out loud those fascinating words of long live Pakistan. And that was the moment for which we all waited.Oh YES! That's on for all and all for one.....Pakistan Zindabad!!!...:)

The future's in your hands!

Hey friends,

Our Almighty God sent us to this enchanting and fascinating world due to some reasons. As we passed through the different stages of evolution and advancement,we gained knowledge and acquaintance regarding this cosmos.Using that knowledge and integrating its various aspects into different techniques,we did a lot of inventions and further discovered zillions of new things;all in all helping us to lead a better and comfortable life.

But those inventions which were meant to comfort the human race, have ultimately resulted in the destruction and deterioration of our Mother Earth.those discoveries which were meant to provide ease to the humanity, have torn apart the existence and soul of our Mother Earth.
Just look around yourself,we are standing in this 21st century-an era where technology rules and expertise resides. But even after that, have we all been successful in making this a better place to live.A long epoch of time have slipped through our hands, but still we are just like some illiterate bunch of people living in some timeworn conditions;filled with hatred, agony and revulsion. And in between all this,we are just playing with the existence our planet.
Malicious bombings at various places, cyber crimes, nuclear threats;what did all of this was meant for?and what did turned out to be?

We must consider the thing that if we want to spend this little time given to us by our Almighty in the right manner, then we should, firstly,be sensible, responsible and be united. Our first priority and obligation should be to use this modern technology in the rightful manner,so that the humans as well as our Mother Earth receives no harm or detriment from it;and instead should apply it in such a manner that it benefits all of us.And en masse, making our beloved Mother Earth-a better place to live!

Muhammad Sameer Kayani.
