True colors

Disguise. How about you get real. Because you might fake the whole world. But how on earth could you lie to yourself. Is it really necessary? To be accepted by those who donot appreciate you for your real self. Is it so hard to live without fabricating yourself, in odd ways? Collapsing outside in, until it gets so humid that its impossible to even breath anymore.
This world isn't really a nice place after all. But that doesnt mean you should shape yourselves the way this world wants to see you. You are the one who'll be living your life, not others. Trying too hard to be a part of something, you'll probably end up loosing what you're already a part of. Putting on mask above masks, until you get to the tipping point. You suffocate.
Open up. Live your life 'cause you're probably not getting a second chance. Let the world see who the real person underneath your camouflage of pigments is. And if they do not accept you the way you are, they don't deserve you. Believe me.

Change the world.

I would still be the same diffident guy if I hadn't said YES that one single time. Stepping out of your boundaries, when everyone else thinks it's moronic, isn't as easy as it may seem. Queries, answers, aims, fears, doubts, emotions; so much to deal with. So. Much.
Different? I did take a step forward, into a new world, never looking back. I am nearly ecstatic for what I am right now. It's like trying on a new pair of glasses. The moment you put them on, you see the world in new colors. Perspectives. Wish I could make ever single person see & live what I did. Just came scross this thing, and realized why are we so damn different.
"I am an exchange student. How do you know what is a dream if you never accomplished one. How do you know what is an adventure if you never took part in one. How do you know what is anguish if you never said goodbye to your family and friends with your eyes full of tears. How do you know what is being desperate, if you never arrived in a place alone and could not understand a word of what everyone else was saying. How do you know what is diversity if you never lived under the same roof with people from all over the world? How do you know what is tolerance, if you never had to get used to something different even if you didn’t like it. How do you know what is autonomy, if you never had the chance to decide something by yourself? How do you know what it means to grow up, if you never stopped being a child to start a new course? How do you know what is to be helpless, if you never wanted to hug someone and had a computer screen to prevent you from doing it. How do you know what is distance, if you never, looking at a map, said “ I am so far away”. How do you know what is a language, if you never had to learn one to make friends. How do you know what is patriotism, if you never shouted “ I love my country” holding a flag in your hands. How do you know what is the true reality, if you never had the chance to see a lot of them to make one. How do you know what is an opportunity, if you never caught one. How do you know what is pride, if you never experienced it for yourself at realizing how much you have accomplished. How do you know what is to seize the day, if you never saw the time running so fast. How do you know what is a friend, if the circumstances never showed you the true ones. How do you know what is a family, if you never had one that supported you unconditionally . How do you know what are borders, if you never crossed yours , to see what there was on the other side. How do you know what is imagination, if you never thought about the moment when you would go back home. How do you know the world, if you have never been an exchange student?"

Leave out all the rest.

What I call my 'ever-favorite' song. 'Nuff said.

Forgetting all the hurt inside
You've learned o hide so well
Pretending someone else can come
And save me from myself
I can't be who you are
I can't be who you are.

Complications

Life. Love. Relations. Questions. Solutions. People are impossible. They try to shape their life in odd ways, pulling things apart, until it breaks down. Why can't they just see that God has plans for them. Surprises that will mold their lives into wonderful patterns.
Love isn't simple enough how it used to be. We have transformed it in weird ways, complicated arrangements. People are together, telling each other how it's unbearable to live without their 'other half'. A couple of months and BOOM! They call their insensitivity 'letting go'. Materialistic beings, they lust about the physicality of the pure abstract feeling. They lie to themselves, to get accepted by this fake world. The promises, the vows, the pain, the ecstasy, the sorrow, the glee. Nothing's genuine anymore.
I have learned to expect the best from my life. Because I know I won't be dying alone. Life is the name of unknown, and I know that somewhere, someone is waiting for me too. Live it up, your life. And as I always say, never anticipate too much. You're probably going to end up with regrets. Believe me.

The longest time.

The moment I heard it, and I was in love with this stuff. As I describe it, beautiful seems a fake word. Drifting somewhere far beyond consciousness, the world looks perfect; and nothingness preoccupies me. Life is wonderful, no doubt.

I don't care what consequence it brings
I have been a fool for lesser things
I want you so bad
I think you ought to know that
I intend to hold you for
The longest time.

For love..

Not a job. It's just a passion; a sudden urge to express yourself. Not a responsibility. Just a though; waiting to be put down, like many others. Not a commitment. It's just a feeling, overwhelming at times. Writing.
Thoughts are mere shout outs of your mind unless they're written down. Ideas aren't concrete until they're put out and opinions don't matter until they're stated. Have a dream? Write it down. A materialistic reminder is much better than a mere thought that preoccupies you. One day, when you will be at the top of the hill, dreams made reality and standing by the flag of your victory, those words you wrote down will remind you of who you are, where you started from and everything beyond.
It might look like abstract ideas expressed in queer gibberish, but these are the purest thoughts put down in a jargon everyone is familiar with. It's an art, acquired with time and persistence. Expressing yourself is the best thing you could, and you should do. You're here for a reason. Tell the ones around you what you think, how you feel and everything else they need to know. There's so much you have inside those abstract boundaries that is fighting to get out, that is yearning to be heard by someone. The one who understands. But at times you're alone. Or you need more than a physical reassurance, you need someone to understand, but there isn't anyone. Just let it flow through those words.
I hate myself for not being so expressive, loyal and honest to myself. I know I never did justice to my passion, my ability to write. But I try. Believe me.

Failu(r)e.

Words are like people. They come with all degrees of complications. With every extent of absurdness. They are deceiving. Beguiling. Swindling.
Unfortunately, the bittern left my fate bitten today. Every time you fall though, you know where to step next time. I'll get my chances, hopefully.
Brevity, is the soul of wit. Aspiration, is the soul of life.
